At one of the very rare 21-and-up shows at House of Blues San Diego, Kaiser Chiefs played a very rock-heavy set along with supporting act Priory.
Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Priory had a unique sound that struck a balance between traditional guitar and electronic beats. Armed with their 2014 single “Weekend,” they successfully amped up the crowd for the main act, Kaiser Chiefs.
Touring all the way from across the pond to support their newest album, Education, Education, Education & War, Kaiser Chiefs did not fail to impress and stayed true to their indie rock roots. Lead singer Ricky Wilson owned the stage completely, never staying still for a second, knowing how to charm the crowd.
Kaiser Chiefs began their set with old favorites such as “The Angry Mob,” “Everyday I Love You Less and Less,” and “Everything is Average Nowadays,” proving their veteran status in the music scene.
