Mathangi Arulpragasam — or as she’s better known, M.I.A. — played a supercharged set at Soma San Diego on Friday. The songs were largely pre-recorded, but the British-Sri Lankan artist and her tireless hype crew put on such a fun, energetic show that it hardly mattered.
