The video for Califone‘s fourth Stitches single features frequent collaborator/Girl, Interrupted actor Angela Bettis in haunting 96 fps slo-mo. Taken in a single shot, it’s a cool video for a cool song.

On the song and visual, Califone mastermind Tim Rutili says, “Movie music can add or subtract emotional weight or fool you into thinking nothing is something and something is nothing. Movie music really can kill a kiss.”

Stitches was one of 2013’s best albums, and the band is hitting the road in support of it. They play San Diego’s Soda Bar with Little White Teeth this Sunday, January 5.
