Boy King solidified their status as one of San Diego’s most exciting bands on Thursday. The fast-rising trio opened for Little Hurricane and Dead Feather Moon at the sold-out Belly Up show, appearing before an audience that had largely never heard of them. But by the end of their scorching set — which made Dead Feather Moon’s histrionic rock posturing seem bland and diluted by comparison — Boy King had made an unforgettable impression.
