If there were any doubts as to how big Little Hurricane have gotten, Saturday’s sold-out show at the Casbah laid them to rest. The nomadic duo returned from a “slow tour” of the country to celebrate the release of its debut album, Homewrecker, and pretty much all of San Diego came out to join in the festivities.
The time on the road has only sharpened the band’s skills. CC and Tone tackled each Homewrecker track with focused energy and unwavering professionalism, much to the crowd’s delight. The impressive turnout made it hard to believe that the last San Diego show they played was at Bar Pink. At this rate, the next time Little Hurricane come to town they’ll be too big even for the Casbah.
